Hummingbird photography workshop

Last weekend I took a workshop led by wildlife photographers Meggi Raeder and Judy Bingham on learning how to photograph hummingbirds. It was a lovely day spent up in the Santa Cruz mountains with a dozen or more hummingbirds darting in and out around the feeders and plants. Even though I didn’t have the most ideal equipment for snapping photos of these birds, I got some nice shots and learned a lot about how to best try to capture these beautiful birds.
